Volvo CE is one of the world´s leaders in manufacturing construction machinery with products sold in more than 100 countries. Their software development department in Eskilstuna have started to use a simulation platform from CC Systems. This simulation platform, developed by CC Systems, helps the software developers to be more efficient in testing and verification since most of the test can be done on a PC, no target hardware needed. The simulation platform has the potential to shorten the development time and make the utilization of the expensive test benches more efficient.

System high-lights: Increased usability
A VCE specific adaptation, where for example support for LabVIEW is integrated in the simulation platform, has been done to improve the usability. This gives VCE the possibility to reuse the same graphical interface on the simulation platform that is used in their hardware test labs. This concept gives VCE a powerful simulation platform for the future.
