Axiomatic Technologies Corporation and Swedish based CC Systems AB announced today a technical teaming arrangement to provide advanced machine control solutions to machine builders in North America.
“The opportunities to save machine users time and money through advanced controls have never been greater” says Amanda Wilkins, Axiomatic’s Marketing Manager. “The price of energy, the complexities of many applications, and the need to save time are of course addressed by the application of electronics to control machines and manage energy consumption.”
CC Systems AB has been working with advanced machine controls for large clients for the past seventeen years and has a strong suite of technology, knowledge and innovative controls for rugged applications in the mining, construction, and forestry industries.
“The rising price of energy, the scarcity of labour, and the continued price/performance trends of digital electronics create the chance to make significant savings for customers over the operating life of their machines as long as the electronic systems are correctly matched to the machine and customer requirements, outlined Johan Bäckström, Area Sales Manager at CC Systems.
However, the complexity of many applications means time to market can go up and product development cycles get extended, which is not desirable. Axiomatic and CC Systems together can offer a wide range of off-the-shelf electronics which can be easily customized to provide cost effective and highly productive solutions to most control problems.
Over the past couple of years, Axiomatic has developed a range of low cost I/O modules using CAN communications and software based features to improve machine effectiveness. CC Systems has a powerful lineup of computer based controls and higher end I/O modules. The companies have concluded that together, they will be able to offer machine builders tailored solutions using these components and without having to compromise by offering too much or too little. This is ideal for clients with applications where cost is paramount or where there are heavy software requirements that require more intensive processing power.
Axiomatic and CC Systems have been working together over the past year to offer a high level of integration between their respective product lines, using industry standard protocols in the products and a common business philosophy of focusing on customer oriented solutions.
The two companies will be exhibiting together in Booth# S-15741at IFPE 2008, March 11-15 in Las Vegas, USA.
CC Systems AB operates in Uppsala, Alfta, Västerǻs, Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, in Tampere, Finland and in Penang, Malaysia.
Axiomatic operates in Mississauga (Toronto), Canada as well as Munich, Germany, and Lempäälä, Finland.
