CCSimTech with LabVIEW support
CC Systems extends CCSimTech with support for LabVIEW. Reuse of existing LabView applications is now possible which improves usability and efficiency.
Development and testing of software for distributed embedded control systems is often a challenging task due to limited access to target hardware in early phases of a project. The simulation toolbox, CCSimTech, means you can create a test environment on a regular PC. As demonstrated in a number of past projects, CCSimTech has the potential to shorten development cycles since most of the tests can be performed without expensive hardware.
The integration between CCSimTech and LabVIEW is an important step in the ambition to make CCSimTech even more attractive to system development organisations; it provides a higher degree of usability and efficiency, and the time to market can greatly be reduced. The first step comprises SimIO and SimCAN support, which in most cases gives sufficient support to LabVIEW.
CCSimTech has been well established at customers such as ESAB and others for many years; it is as natural to them to use CCSimTech as it is for us in our internal projects. Recently Volvo CE in Eskilstuna decided to integrate CCSimTech in their future projects. With the possibility to integrate LabVIEW with CCSimTech, system development organisations can reuse their LabVIEW test applications and enhance their test environments with the CCSimTech toolbox, achieving both time and cost savings. |
