CC Systems will be launching a number of new products for advanced machine controls at CONEXPO-IFPE, March 11-15 2008 in Las Vegas. These products complement our CrossTalk system platform, which features a range of robust display units, controllers and I/O-modules. From a software perspective CrossTalk is an open platform; the products are supplied as CANopen slaves or masters, with soft-PLC runtimes or with driver packages, enabling customers to have the application developed with the tools of their preference.

CC Pilot XLi is a new high performance on-board PC. Like our other on-board computer product lines, CC Pilot XS and CC Pilot XL, the CC Pilot XLi is a robust and truly industrial product. The product comes with Win XP, Win XPe or Linux operating system.

The CC Pilot XLi has three processor alternatives, the most powerful being a 1.66 GHz Core 2 Duo processor. In the CC Pilot XLi, the CPU is integrated in the display enclosure, forming a single, sleek package. The display is equipped with a durable, all-glass touch screen with AR treatment. The first product version launched has a 10’’4 display and 12’’1 and 15’’ versions are planned. The performance in combination with the fan-less design and solid state hard disk makes it unprecedented in the market for industrial on-board computers.

The new CrossFire GX1 controller and I/O-module has in its field test period demonstrated excellent reliability in very rough operating conditions. The unit is designed for advanced hydraulics control and has 42 configurable I/O channels for proportional output, on/off output, digital and analogue inputs. The ability to configure I/O means that several GX1 units can be used for different I/O and controller tasks on a machine. The CrossFire GX1 is ultra-rugged, designed for very demanding environments.
