Our control system platform, CrossTalk, is offered with CoDeSys as the standard software platform with CANopen used as the standard fieldbus protocol. We can now offer CoDeSys with integrated support for SAE J1939. With the J1939 support it will be easier to integrate ECU’s and subsystem that have J1939 into a CrossTalk system solution. Typical features handled on J1939 are engine speed, brakes, hydraulics, oil-consumption and vehicle exhaust system. We have offered J1939 support earlier, but then as a separate software component. By having the integrated J1939 support in CoDeSys system engineering is made simpler.

Most of the system solutions we provide utilise CANopen and J1939. However, we also do integration of proprietary field bus protocols with the powerful CoDeSys software platform.

We have chosen to offer CoDeSys as the standard software platform in the CrossTalk concept due to its widespread use in the business and the fact that applications developed are easily transferable to other hardware; no user shall become dependant on one certain hardware platform or hardware supplier. Likewise, applications developed on other platforms in accordance with the IEC61131 standard are easily migrated to CrossTalk.
